Adrienne May

Kindergarten

Mrs. May graduated with honors from the College of Santa Fe in 1985.   She holds a BA in Elementary Education and has spent the last 22 years working with students from preschool through 2nd grade.  Adrienne exudes a sense of peace into her classroom.  She has an unwavering love for the Lord and takes great joy in sharing it with her
“little lambs.”

 

 

 

Shawna Rosales-Hedgecoke

1st and 2nd Grades 

This will be Shawna's first year with the Academy.  She graduated with an associates degree in Early Childhood from Santa Fe Community College in 2001.  In 2008 she graduated from New Mexico Highlands University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor focus in Special Education.  She has 8 years exoerience as an assistant in K-2nd Grade with the Santa Fe Public Schools.

 


Julie Montano

Third and Fourth Grades

 

 

Mrs. Montano was born and raised in Santa Fe.  She holds a BA in Business from NMSU and has been in the field of educating children for the last 25 years, including 6 years as a home educator.  Julie has been with us since November 2008, she is creative and draws children into the love of learning through her own enthusiasm.  Her smile is her greeting card and the brightness to each faculty and student’s day.  

 



Christina Hohmann

Fifth & Sixth Grades

 

 

This will be Christina's first year with the Academy She and her family moved to  Santa Fe about a year and a half ago from the Houston, Texas area.  She had been an elementary art teacher there for 12 years.  My husband, Phillip and I have 5 year old boy/girl twins who will be starting Kindergarten this year at CLA. We are thrilled to be here. I am looking forward with great anticipation to see what our Lord has in store not only for my students and me but also for Christian Life Academy as a whole.

 

 

Lorri Bradford

 

7th and 8th Grades

 

 

Lorri Bradford holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Education from Vanguard University. She also has a Secondary Teaching License with an endorsement in English from the State of New Mexico. Mrs. Bradford began teaching in NM in 2001, and has taught a combined 7th & 8th grade class since 2003. Mrs. Bradford and her family moved to Santa Fe in 1999 and she has 3 children, one of whom has already left the nest. The other two are still home and both attend CLA.

 


Christina Graves
 

Math Teacher


This will be Christina's first year with CLA, she graduated with a BS in secondary mathematics in 1988 from West Chester University in PA.  She has homeschooled as well as substitute taught in both public and private schools.  She began teaching in 2005 at a private Christian School in SC.  She has taught Consumer Math all the way through Calculus.  She loves math and high school age youth.  Christina is a mother of 3.  One is away at college and 2 are still at home.

Jien-Ai Jones

 

High School Compter Lab Supervisor

 

 

Jien-Ai started her official teaching career 4 years ago, but with 7 children at home she brings immeasurable experience to the academy.  Mrs. Jones attended Colorado State University and has the uncanny ability to find God’s handiwork in progress in each of her students.


 

 

Linda Tercero

Spanish Teacher

 

Mrs. Linda Tercero received a BA in Education from New Mexico State University in 1998.  She began her teaching career at CCCA giving her 6 months of teaching experience before taking a leave of absence for four years to raise her two boys Christian and Ezekiel.  The Lord opened a door for her in 2002 to teach first grade and then second grade until 2007 when Linda and her husband, Adrian, decided to move to Las Cruces where she worked for two years as a third grade teacher.  She is excited to be a part of CLA and is enthusiastic about teaching Spanish, her first spoken language.
