Cedric Lope has improved in many areas of his life. His enthusiasm for learning and positive attitute has rubbed off onto the the rest of us. Cedric is very helpful and displays a peaceful character that helps make our classroom run more smoothly. He is a great blessing to us.
Lucas Hanson has been a great blessing in my class. He is very smart and willing to help out children that are in need of that extra help. Lucas has also shown great growth in his relationship to the Lord by his kindness to other children and by having self-control of his actions! Way to go Lucas.
Jacob Chavez is a very bright, consciencous student. He works hard to complete his work and is diligent in studying for tests and quizzes. He is thoughtful and helpful. He is also a patient teacher, he exhibited this when he tried to teach Mrs. Hohmann how to play chess!
Joanna Velasquez is a remarkable young lady. She is consistent and quiet in her daily work. Joanna is always willing to help others. Her persistence in her studies has brought her success and admiration from her peers. Joanna is a delightful student. |

Our children spend the majority
of their young lives in the classroom. Many Christian parents take advantage of
the opportunities offered by a Christian school to help train their child up in
the way that he or she should go (Proverbs 22:6).
It is exciting to know that there
are 923 Assemblies of God/Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS)
sponsored day schools and childcare centers within the United States. Christian
teachers have approximately 1260 instructional contact hours per year in a day
school and over 2,000 in a childcare center. This allows a tremendous amount of
direct Christian discipleship and evangelism to occur in this school system.
Private education accounts for
118,296 students within Assemblies of God/ACTS schools. According to the most
current statistics from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES),
approximately 10% of all U.S. students are educated in private schools. Between
now and 2014, the number of students in private schools is expected to continue
to increase by 5%.
